Question 1

How many guests can the InterContinental Dubai Marina accommodate for a corporate event?

Accepted Answer

The venue can host up to 200 guests in a cocktail reception format, 150 in theater-style seating, 90 in a classroom layout, and 80 for a seated banquet, with boardroom and U-shape configurations available for groups of up to 25. This range of setups makes it a strong fit for everything from intimate leadership workshops to mid-size product launches and town hall meetings. Event managers should confirm their preferred layout early, as room configuration affects both capacity and setup lead time.

Question 2

What AV and technical facilities are available on-site for conferences and presentations?

Accepted Answer

The InterContinental Dubai Marina is equipped with professional AV infrastructure including microphones, a full sound system, flatscreen display screens, and high-speed internet, all supported by on-site AV staff who can assist throughout your event. This means your technical production is managed in-house without the cost and coordination risk of bringing in an external supplier. For complex hybrid or multi-screen setups, it is advisable to share your technical brief in advance so the team can prepare accordingly.

Question 3

How accessible is the venue for international delegates and guests traveling across Dubai?

Accepted Answer

The venue is located in the Dubai Marina waterfront district, reachable within 32 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport and under 30 minutes from central landmarks such as Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. For guests using public transport, Dubai Marina Mall Tram Station is a 13-minute walk and DMCC Metro Station is 15 minutes on foot, making it convenient for attendees staying across the city. Complimentary parking and valet parking are also available on-site for those arriving by car.

Question 4

Does the venue offer catering, and can it be adapted for different event formats or dietary requirements?

Accepted Answer

On-site catering is available directly through the hotel, covering everything from working lunches and coffee breaks to full banquet dinners and cocktail receptions, including access to a dedicated bar and cocktail area. InterContinental properties typically accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements, and event managers are encouraged to discuss custom menus during the planning phase. Having catering managed in-house simplifies logistics and reduces coordination overhead for your event team.

Question 5

Can the space support multi-session events or programs that require separate breakout areas?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the venue includes dedicated breakout rooms that allow parallel sessions to run alongside a main plenary, which is particularly useful for training days, HR offsites, and conferences with concurrent tracks. The combination of a theater-style main room and smaller breakout spaces gives event planners the flexibility to design structured agendas without moving groups to a different building or floor. Natural light is available in the event spaces, which contributes to a more comfortable environment over a full-day program.

Question 6

How do I request a quote for an event at the InterContinental Dubai Marina and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

You can submit an enquiry directly through Flaash, a B2B platform built for corporate event sourcing across the Middle East, and receive a tailored quote from the venue within 24 hours. This streamlines the process for event managers working under tight timelines or comparing multiple venues simultaneously. It is recommended to include your event date, expected headcount, preferred setup, and any specific requirements such as accommodation blocks or spa access in your initial enquiry to get the most accurate response.
