The Deaf Institute

The Deaf Institute is a distinctive culture and landmarks venue on Manchester's Oxford Road Corridor, offering full venue hire for up to 500 standing across four spaces. The Music Hall accommodates up to 300 standing and carries a particular atmosphere, with spotlights and a disco ball lending the room a character that sets it apart from more conventional event spaces. On-site facilities include AV equipment, a sound system, high-speed internet, air conditioning, breakout rooms, and onsite catering, giving event managers a reasonable working infrastructure without needing to bring much in. The combination of production-ready audio-visual provision and breakout capacity makes it a practical choice for formats that need more than a single room. Manchester Oxford Road Station is an eight-minute walk, with Piccadilly Tram Stop reachable in sixteen minutes on foot. Manchester Airport is approximately 28 minutes by car. Manchester Museum sits seven minutes away, and Manchester Central Convention Complex is a 17-minute walk, providing useful context for delegates navigating the wider area.
