Question 1

What event formats and capacities does The WB Abu Dhabi support?

Accepted Answer

The WB Abu Dhabi can host up to 400 guests in theater or cocktail format, 280 in banquet style, 185 in classroom layout, and smaller groups of 55 to 60 in boardroom or U-shape configurations. This range makes it suitable for large-scale corporate conferences, product launches, leadership summits, and intimate board meetings alike. Breakout rooms are also available for parallel sessions or workshop formats within the same event.

Question 2

How accessible is the venue for international delegates flying into Abu Dhabi?

Accepted Answer

The WB Abu Dhabi is located on Yas Island, just 12 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, making it one of the most conveniently located corporate event venues in the city for international groups. The Yas Waterworld Tram Station is a 2-minute walk from the property, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible to accommodate all attendees. For delegates who prefer to extend their stay, on-site accommodation is available directly at the hotel.

Question 3

What technical and audiovisual facilities are available for corporate events?

Accepted Answer

The venue offers high-speed internet throughout its event spaces, along with standard AV infrastructure including basic lighting and full air conditioning. Natural light is available in select spaces, which is a valued feature for day-long conferences and training sessions. Event managers are encouraged to confirm specific AV requirements at the enquiry stage to ensure the setup is tailored to their program.

Question 4

Is parking available on-site, and what are the options for large corporate groups?

Accepted Answer

The WB Abu Dhabi provides both complimentary self-parking and valet parking, which is a significant advantage for corporate events in Abu Dhabi where the majority of local attendees arrive by car. This removes a common logistical friction point for event managers coordinating large groups across the Yas Island site. The venue's location also benefits from Yas Island's broader transport infrastructure, including tram access for attendees who prefer not to drive.

Question 5

How much lead time is recommended to secure this venue for a corporate event?

Accepted Answer

For large-format events such as conferences or gala dinners with over 200 guests, a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks advance booking is advisable, particularly during peak corporate season between October and April in Abu Dhabi. Smaller boardroom or workshop bookings may be arranged with shorter notice depending on availability. Submitting an enquiry through Flaash allows you to receive a confirmed quote from this venue within 24 hours, which helps accelerate your internal approval process.

Question 6

Can catering be customized to accommodate dietary requirements and multicultural teams?

Accepted Answer

The WB Abu Dhabi offers full onsite catering with the flexibility expected from a Hilton-managed property, including the ability to accommodate dietary restrictions, halal requirements, and varied menu preferences common in multinational corporate groups. Catering arrangements can be discussed and tailored during the planning phase following your initial enquiry. For multi-day events, coffee break packages, working lunches, and gala dinner formats can all be configured as part of a comprehensive event package.
