Question 1

What is the maximum capacity for a corporate event at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi?

Accepted Answer

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi can accommodate up to 1,100 guests in a theatre configuration, making it one of the larger corporate event venues available in Abu Dhabi for conferences, general assemblies, and product launches. For more intimate formats, the venue also supports classroom setups for up to 576, banquet dinners for up to 700, and boardroom meetings for up to 54 delegates. This range of configurations makes it a practical choice for companies planning multi-format or multi-day events across different audience sizes.

Question 2

Is AV equipment and technical support available on-site for conferences and corporate events?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi provides professional AV equipment and dedicated on-site AV staff to support corporate events from setup through to delivery. The venue also offers staging, basic lighting, and high-speed internet as standard, reducing the need for external suppliers and simplifying event logistics. For event managers coordinating complex programmes, having accredited technical staff on the ground is a significant operational advantage.

Question 3

How accessible is Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi for delegates travelling from Dubai or arriving on international flights?

Accepted Answer

The venue is located on Marina Mall Ring Road in Abu Dhabi and is approximately 18 minutes from Dubai International Airport, making it a realistic option for day delegates travelling from Dubai or connecting through DXB. Abu Dhabi International Airport is around 37 minutes away, which covers international arrivals comfortably. Complimentary and valet parking are available on-site, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring a smooth arrival experience for all attendees.

Question 4

Can corporate events at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi include breakout sessions alongside a main plenary?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the venue offers dedicated breakout rooms alongside its main event spaces, allowing event managers to run concurrent sessions, workshops, or syndicate groups within the same property. This setup is particularly well suited to leadership summits, training days, and multi-track conferences where delegates need to move between spaces without leaving the venue. The combination of a 1,100-seat theatre with smaller breakout configurations gives programme designers genuine flexibility.

Accepted Answer

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi provides full on-site catering services, with bar and cocktail areas available for receptions and networking formats. Catering menus can typically be tailored to accommodate dietary requirements including halal, vegetarian, and allergy-specific needs, which is standard practice for corporate events in the Abu Dhabi market. Event managers are advised to confirm bespoke menu requests at the time of enquiry to allow sufficient lead time for the culinary team to plan accordingly.
