Question 1

What event formats and delegate capacities can Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan accommodate?

Accepted Answer

The venue supports a wide range of corporate event formats, from large-scale conferences and gala dinners to focused training sessions and executive meetings. Capacity reaches 700 in theater style, 800 for banquet events, and up to 1200 for cocktail receptions, making it one of the more versatile corporate event venues in Abu Dhabi for both mid-size and large-scale gatherings. Boardroom and U-shape configurations are also available for smaller strategic meetings of up to 175 and 220 delegates respectively.

Question 2

How accessible is the venue for international delegates traveling to Abu Dhabi?

Accepted Answer

Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan is located on Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street, one of the city's main arterial roads, and sits just 19 minutes from Zayed International Airport, making it straightforward to reach for international attendees. Al Bateen Executive Airport, which handles private and charter aviation, is only 8 minutes away, an important consideration for executive-level events. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and offers both complimentary self-parking and valet parking for delegates arriving by road.

Question 3

What audiovisual and technical facilities are available on-site for conferences and corporate presentations?

Accepted Answer

The venue is equipped with professional AV equipment, a full sound system, staging, and basic lighting, all available on-site without the need to bring in external suppliers. High-speed internet is included across the event spaces, ensuring reliable connectivity for hybrid formats, live streaming, or large-audience presentations. Event managers should confirm specific technical requirements at the enquiry stage to allow the team to configure the setup appropriately ahead of the event.

Question 4

Does the venue have dedicated breakout rooms for multi-session or training-format events?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan offers breakout rooms that can be used for parallel workshop sessions, smaller syndicate groups, or private briefings running alongside a main plenary. This makes it well suited to corporate training days, product launches with rotating demonstrations, or annual conferences requiring simultaneous programming. For events requiring natural light in breakout spaces, this should be flagged at booking stage as availability varies by room.

Question 5

What catering options are available for full-day corporate events, and how flexible is the offering?

Accepted Answer

The venue provides full onsite catering managed by the hotel's own team, covering everything from working lunches and coffee break stations to formal gala dinners and cocktail receptions. This integrated approach reduces coordination complexity for event managers and ensures consistent quality across all food and beverage elements of the day. Dietary requirements and customized menus can be discussed during the planning process, and the venue's pool and garden areas offer additional settings for outdoor networking receptions.

Question 6

How far in advance should we book, and how do we receive a quote for a corporate event at this venue?

Accepted Answer

For large conferences or gala dinners in Abu Dhabi, a lead time of four to eight weeks is advisable to secure preferred dates and allow adequate time for setup coordination, though the venue can accommodate shorter timelines depending on availability. Through Flaash, event managers can submit a single enquiry and receive a confirmed quote from Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan within 24 hours, removing the need for lengthy back-and-forth communication. This is particularly useful for HR managers and communication managers working to tight internal approval deadlines across the Middle East.
