The Sharp Project

The Sharp Project is a Manchester event and production space with a distinctly industrial character - high ceilings and a working studio environment give it a different feel from conventional conference venues. With capacity for up to 200 guests, it offers three spaces suited to a range of event formats, including a Green Screen Studio that holds up to 200 and a dedicated event space accommodating up to 150. On-site facilities include AV equipment, flatscreen display screens, high-speed internet, air conditioning, natural light and breakout rooms, making it a practical base for events that need reliable technical infrastructure without bringing everything in from outside. Getting there is straightforward: Central Park tram stop is an eight-minute walk, with Newton Heath and Moston tram stop around 14 minutes on foot. Manchester Airport is a 32-minute drive. The Etihad Stadium and AO Arena are both within a ten-minute drive, useful context for events timed around wider Manchester activity.
