The Royal Institution

The Royal Institution is a landmark Mayfair venue spanning nine spaces, with a maximum capacity of 440 for standing events and a dedicated theatre that seats up to 300 in a traditional configuration. The Theatre is the centrepiece of the event offer - a tiered auditorium with white walls and reflective surfaces that lend it a clean, considered atmosphere. On-site facilities include AV equipment, a sound system, flatscreen display screens, high-speed internet, air conditioning and natural light, giving event and communications managers a solid technical foundation without the need to bring much in. Green Park Underground Station is a seven-minute walk, Bond Street Station nine minutes, and London City Airport is reachable in around 44 minutes by car. Buckingham Palace is a 15-minute walk and Trafalgar Square roughly 20 minutes, placing the venue within easy reach of some of central London's most recognisable landmarks for delegates arriving from any direction.
