The Compound

The Compound is a Birmingham event space with three distinct areas and a maximum capacity of 150 guests. Warm lighting and earthy tones give the venue a grounded, considered atmosphere that reads well for both daytime and evening formats. The Winter Garden accommodates up to 150 standing, while The Kitchen offers a slightly more contained setting for up to 120 standing. On-site facilities include AV equipment, a sound system, flatscreen display screens, high-speed internet, air conditioning, and natural light - a practical combination that reduces the need for external suppliers. Two tram stops, St Chads and St Paul's, are each around a five-minute walk away, and Birmingham Airport is approximately 24 minutes by car. Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is a 14-minute walk, with the Library of Birmingham reachable in around 17 minutes - useful context for delegates arriving early or extending their visit.
