Battersea Barge is a moored vessel on the Thames offering five spaces and a maximum standing capacity of 150. The combination of wooden floors and an open deck gives the setting a distinctly nautical character, while on-site facilities include AV equipment, a sound system, a flatscreen display screen, high-speed internet, air conditioning and natural light.
The Lower Deck accommodates up to 120 standing, with whole or partial boat hire available depending on the scale of the event. Five spaces in total means there is room to separate different parts of a programme without the venue feeling stretched.
Battersea Power Station is a nine-minute walk away, and Nine Elms Underground Station is reachable in fourteen minutes on foot, making the barge straightforward to reach from central London. Buckingham Palace is approximately fourteen minutes by car. For delegates travelling further afield, London City Airport is around forty-four minutes by road.
