Question 1

How accessible is The OQ Hotel for international guests and delegates arriving by air?

Accepted Answer

The OQ Hotel is located just a 9-minute drive from Hamad International Airport, making it one of the most conveniently positioned corporate event venues in the Lusail area for international delegates. Event managers planning regional conferences or executive summits can reasonably expect minimal transfer time between the airport and the venue, which is a significant logistical advantage when coordinating multi-country attendee lists.

Question 2

Where exactly is The OQ Hotel located and what landmarks are nearby?

Accepted Answer

The OQ Hotel is situated at Building 75, Street 507, Zone 69, Lusail, placing it within easy reach of major Lusail and Qatar landmarks including Lusail Stadium at 8 minutes, Lusail Marina at 16 minutes, Place Vendome Qatar at 16 minutes, and Al Maha Island at The Pearl-Qatar at 19 minutes. This central positioning makes it a practical choice for corporate events that may include evening networking, client entertainment, or post-event activities in one of Doha's most developed urban districts.

Question 3

What catering arrangements are available for corporate events held at the venue?

Accepted Answer

The OQ Hotel offers onsite catering, allowing event managers to coordinate meals, coffee breaks, and refreshments directly through the venue without relying on external suppliers. For multi-session conference days or formal corporate dinners with specific dietary or cultural requirements, it is recommended to discuss catering specifications in detail at the enquiry stage to ensure full alignment before confirming a booking.

Question 4

What facilities and equipment does The OQ Hotel provide for corporate events?

Accepted Answer

The venue provides tables and chairs, basic lighting, and air conditioning as part of its standard event setup, covering the essential infrastructure for meetings, seminars, and corporate gatherings in a climate-controlled environment. Event managers requiring advanced audiovisual equipment or specialized staging should raise those needs at the enquiry stage, as supplementary solutions may need to be coordinated in advance.

Question 5

Is parking available at The OQ Hotel for large corporate groups and invited guests?

Accepted Answer

Parking availability and capacity for large delegations is an important logistical detail to confirm directly with the venue, particularly for all-hands company events, client conferences, or award ceremonies where a significant number of attendees may be driving. Event managers are advised to raise parking requirements early in the planning process to allow the venue team to provide adequate arrangements or recommend nearby alternatives if needed.
