Question 1

What are the maximum capacities for corporate events at the Intercontinental Doha Beach & Spa?

Accepted Answer

The venue accommodates up to 800 guests in theater-style configuration, 540 for a banquet, 750 for a cocktail reception, and 324 in classroom layout, making it one of the more flexible large-scale conference venues in Doha. Smaller formats including boardroom for 117 and U-shape for 68 are also available, allowing the same property to host both executive meetings and large-scale corporate gatherings on the same day.

Question 2

How accessible is the venue for international delegates traveling to Doha?

Accepted Answer

The Intercontinental Doha Beach & Spa is a 23-minute drive from both Doha International Airport and Hamad International Airport, making it straightforward for international attendees to reach without internal transfers or complex logistics. The venue also offers complimentary and valet parking on-site, and its wheelchair-accessible facilities ensure smooth access for all delegates regardless of mobility needs.

Question 3

What AV and technical equipment does the venue provide for conferences and corporate events?

Accepted Answer

The property features a full in-house AV setup including microphones, a professional sound system, staging, and basic lighting, all supported by dedicated on-site AV staff who can assist with configuration and live troubleshooting. High-speed internet access is available throughout the event spaces, which is particularly important for hybrid conferences, live-streamed presentations, or events with international remote participants.

Question 4

How far in advance should we book this venue for a corporate event in Doha?

Accepted Answer

For large-scale events such as conferences, gala dinners, or product launches, booking at least three to four months in advance is strongly recommended, especially during Qatar's peak corporate season from October through March when demand across Doha venues increases significantly. For smaller boardroom or executive meetings, a lead time of four to six weeks is generally sufficient, though availability can vary depending on the hotel's accommodation occupancy.

Question 5

What catering options are available, and can the venue accommodate diverse dietary requirements?

Accepted Answer

The Intercontinental Doha Beach & Spa offers full on-site catering managed by the hotel's culinary team, covering everything from working lunches and coffee breaks to multi-course banquet dinners and cocktail receptions. Given the international profile of corporate audiences in Qatar, the catering team is experienced in accommodating a wide range of dietary requirements including halal, vegetarian, vegan, and allergen-specific menus, which should be confirmed and detailed at the time of booking.

Question 6
