Question 1

How far is the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab from major airports, and is the venue accessible for international delegates?

Accepted Answer

The resort is approximately 39 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and around 40 minutes from Dubai International Airport, making it straightforwardly accessible for international corporate groups flying into either hub. Complimentary parking and valet parking are available on-site, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring a smooth arrival experience for all attendees.

Question 2

What is the maximum capacity of the event spaces, and what room configurations are available?

Accepted Answer

The venue can host up to 378 guests in a cocktail format, 330 in theatre style, and 216 for a seated banquet, covering everything from large conferences and product launches to gala dinners. Classroom, U-shape, and boardroom configurations are also available for smaller training sessions or executive meetings of up to 72 participants.

Question 3

Are breakout rooms available for multi-track programmes or workshop sessions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, dedicated breakout rooms are available alongside the main event space, making the venue well suited for corporate offsites, leadership summits, and training days that require parallel sessions or smaller group work. This flexibility allows event managers and HR teams to design full-day or multi-day programmes without needing to source a secondary venue.

Question 4

What AV and technical facilities does the venue provide, and is on-site support included?

Accepted Answer

The InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab is equipped with professional AV equipment, staging, and basic lighting as standard, with on-site AV staff available to manage technical delivery throughout your event. High-speed internet access is also provided, which is essential for hybrid meetings, live-streamed presentations, and delegate connectivity.

Question 5

What makes this venue a strong choice for a corporate retreat or incentive event compared to a standard conference centre?

Accepted Answer

Unlike a purely functional conference facility, this resort combines fully equipped meeting spaces with waterfront views spanning the sea, marina, beach, and mountains, along with a spa, pool, and on-site accommodation, giving corporate groups everything they need for a productive yet rewarding multi-day retreat. The natural light across the event spaces and the resort environment make it particularly effective for incentive programmes, team-building events, and senior leadership offsites where delegate experience matters as much as logistics.

Question 6

How do I request a quote for this venue and how quickly will I receive a response?

Accepted Answer

You can submit an enquiry directly through Flaash, a B2B platform specialising in corporate venue sourcing across the Middle East, and receive a tailored quote within 24 hours. For large or complex events, it is advisable to enquire at least six to eight weeks in advance to secure your preferred dates and allow sufficient time for catering customisation, room layout planning, and AV coordination with the on-site team.
