Question 1

How far is Fujairah Rotana Resort and Spa Al Aqah Beach from Dubai and the nearest airports?

Accepted Answer

The resort is approximately a 90-minute drive from Dubai, making it a practical choice for corporate retreats and off-site conferences that benefit from distance from the city without requiring air travel. The nearest airports are Fujairah International Airport at 52 minutes and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport at 55 minutes, offering convenient access for international delegates flying into the region.

Question 2

What are the maximum capacities for corporate events at this venue?

Accepted Answer

The resort's main event spaces can host up to 300 guests in theater style, 260 in banquet configuration, and 330 for cocktail receptions, giving event planners strong flexibility across formats. Smaller formats are equally well served, with boardroom capacity for up to 100 attendees and U-shape setup for up to 80, making the venue suitable for both large conferences and senior leadership meetings.

Question 3

What technical and logistical facilities are available for corporate conferences?

Accepted Answer

The venue provides on-site AV equipment, high-speed internet, air conditioning, tables and chairs, and basic lighting as standard, covering the core requirements for professional conference production. Dedicated breakout rooms are also available, which is a significant advantage for multi-track programs, workshop rotations, or parallel sessions during full-day or multi-day corporate events in Fujairah.

Question 4

Does the resort offer on-site accommodation for multi-day corporate events?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Fujairah Rotana Resort and Spa Al Aqah Beach offers on-site accommodation, which makes it well suited for residential conferences, leadership retreats, and team off-sites that require delegates to stay on property. The combination of meeting spaces, accommodation, spa and wellness facilities, and pool access in a beachfront setting with mountain and sea views is a strong draw for companies looking to run immersive, distraction-free programs outside of Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Question 5

How flexible is catering for corporate groups, and is parking available on site?

Accepted Answer

The resort provides onsite catering that can be tailored to the needs of corporate groups, including full-day delegate packages, gala dinners, and cocktail receptions aligned with various dietary requirements. Complimentary parking and valet parking are both available, which is a practical consideration for events where a significant portion of attendees arrive by car from Dubai or across the Northern Emirates.

Question 6

How do I get a quote for a corporate event at this venue and what lead time should I plan for?

Accepted Answer

You can submit an enquiry directly through Flaash, the B2B platform connecting companies with event venues across the Middle East, and receive a tailored quote within 24 hours. For large-scale conferences or residential programs at a resort of this size, a lead time of six to eight weeks is advisable to secure preferred dates and allow sufficient time for catering planning, rooming lists, and AV coordination.
