Question 1

How accessible is Expo Centre Sharjah for attendees coming from Dubai or arriving by air?

Accepted Answer

Expo Centre Sharjah is located on Al Taawun Street in Al Khan, just 11 minutes from Dubai International Airport, making it one of the most conveniently positioned corporate event venues in the Northern Emirates for both local and international guests. Sharjah International Airport is approximately 27 minutes away, offering an additional access point for regional travelers. The venue is well connected by road, and its location near the Sharjah-Dubai border minimizes travel friction for cross-emirate attendees.

Question 2

What are the capacity options for corporate events at Expo Centre Sharjah?

Accepted Answer

Expo Centre Sharjah accommodates up to 90 guests in a theater-style configuration, making it well suited for conferences, seminars, town halls, and training sessions, while its cocktail setup supports up to 240 attendees for networking events, product launches, or corporate receptions. This dual-format flexibility allows event planners to use the same venue for a structured morning session and a more social evening format within the same booking. Teams should factor in setup and breakdown time when planning back-to-back configurations.

Question 3

What AV and technical equipment is available on-site?

Accepted Answer

Expo Centre Sharjah provides AV equipment and high-speed internet directly on-site, removing the need for third-party technical suppliers for standard corporate events such as presentations, panel discussions, or live-streamed sessions. Basic lighting and air conditioning are also included, ensuring a comfortable and professionally equipped environment throughout the event. Event managers are advised to confirm specific technical requirements such as screen size, microphone type, or streaming capacity at the inquiry stage to avoid last-minute coordination.

Question 4

Does the venue offer on-site catering, and how flexible is it for corporate groups?

Accepted Answer

Expo Centre Sharjah offers on-site catering, which simplifies logistics significantly for corporate event planners who need to coordinate meals, coffee breaks, or cocktail refreshments without managing external vendors. Catering flexibility, including dietary accommodations common in the UAE market such as halal options, should be confirmed directly with the venue team at the time of booking. Having catering managed in-house also reduces coordination risk on the day of the event, which is a meaningful operational advantage for HR and communications teams running time-sensitive programs.

Question 5

Is parking available at Expo Centre Sharjah, and is it included in the booking?

Accepted Answer

Expo Centre Sharjah offers complimentary parking for attendees, which is a notable practical advantage for corporate events in Sharjah where the majority of guests are likely to arrive by car. This eliminates a common logistical concern for event planners and removes any added cost burden on attendees or the organizing company. For larger cocktail-format events of up to 240 guests, it is worth confirming parking volume capacity with the venue when submitting your inquiry.
